Kemani Crawford had a career-high 30 points, including 19 points in the third and fourth quarters, to lead Ferrum College to an 83-78 non-conference women's basketball win over Bridgewater College this afternoon at Swartz Gym.

How It HappenedThe two teams played evenly through the first and second quarters, with Ferrum grabbing a 34-31 halftime lead. The Panthers opened a 13-point lead in the third quarter, only to see the Eagles close to within a point at 77-76 when Jessica Lam converted a pair of free throws with 1:07 left in regulation. In her first game this season,
Kelli Mounce added 11 points, including a basket and three free throws in the final 35 seconds of play.
Zarkia Mattox added 16 points and 13 rebounds, her second double-double this season.
