FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College's volleyball team dropped its home-opener to visiting Emory & Henry College tonight at Swartz Gym, falling 3-1. Set scores were 25-14, 25-22, 14-25, 25-16. Ebony Crawford led the Panthers with nine kills on 18 attack attempts, while Emily Danner dished out 15 assists.

How It Happened
Emory & Henry jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Ferrum took the third set and trimmed the lead to 2-1. The Wasps then opened a large lead mid-way through the fourth set and held on for the 3-1 win.
