DANVILLE, Va. -- Kemani Crawford led Ferum College with a game-high 21 points on 8-13 shooting and added nine rebounds in a 74-61 USA South women's basketball loss to Averett University this afternoon at the Grant Center.

How It Happened
Ferrum shot 36% from the floor to Averett's 46%. Long-distance shooting was not in the cards for the Panthers, hitting just three of 21 attempts from behind the three-point arc. Averett led 37-29 at halftime, then widened the gap to 54-40 after three periods. The Cougars led by as many as 18 points in the fourth on Joelle Deese's jumper with 7:26 remaining to make the score 62-44.
