FERRUM, Va. -- Nick Myers was 28-47 passing for 375 yards and three touchdowns to lead Maryville College past Ferrum College 42-19 in USA South football action this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led 10-7 five minutes into the second quarter on a Taylor four-yard TD run and a 31-yard field goal by Chase Deaton. The Scots answered before halftime with a pair of TD pass from Myers to take a 17-10 lead into the locker room. It was all Maryville in the second half as the Scots outscored Ferrum 25-9 down the stretch. Myers tossed another TD pass, Elijah Chenier had a pair of TD runs and Ian Hubbs had a 36-yard field goal. Deaton connected on his second field goal of the day with 9:21 left to play, this one again from 31 yards out.
