UNION, N.J. -- Ferrum College's women's basketball team nipped Alma College 57-55 in the consolation game of the Kean Classic, played this afternoon at Kean College.

THE BASICS
Alma opened a 16-13 lead after one quarter, only to see the Panthers battle back to grab a 32-27 halftime lead. The two teams played an almost dead even game in the second half, with the Panthers holding on for the win. Kean's Marajiah Bacon was named Tournament MVP. Joining her on the All-Tournament Team were teammates De'Mean Bond and Jaquetta Owens, Ferrum's Erin March and Lehman's Ameky Del Rosario.
