FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College jumped into the national rankings in the latest NCAA Division III wrestling poll by Intermat Wrestling. The Panthers are the #23 team as listed in the online poll's Dec. 7 ranking period. This is the second straight year that Ferrum has been listed among the top 25 NCAA Div. III wrestling programs.
The Panthers also have one individual among the top 10 individually,
Logan Meister, who is ranked #8 in the 157-pound weight class. Meister is a two-time NCAA Tournament qualifier (2014, 2016), who earned All-American honors a year ago after finishing sixth at the NCAA Tournament.

Coach Nate Yetzer's team, is 2-0 in dual meets thus far. The Panthers wil be back in action this weekend at the Gator Boots Duals in Nashville, Tennessee, where they will wrestle three or four duals, and will have an additional one or two duals for a "B" squad. Luther College (Iowa) will host the event at McGavock High School.
