
LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- Ferrum College earned up a 67-61 USA South men's basketball road win over Covenant College this afternoon at the Barnes Physical Education Center. The Scots came into the game as the league's top-ranked team.

How It HappenedThe Panthers trailed 30-22 with just under 18 minutes left to play, but used a 24-9 run to grab a 46-39 lead. The Scots answered with a 13-4 run to claim a 52-50 lead with five minutes left.
Rashawn Speas' jumper with 1:52 left in regulation put Ferrum back out in front for good at 59-57 and the Panthers held on down the stretch.
