EMORY, Va. -- Ferrum College fell 3-0 to Emory & Henry College in non-conference volleyball action tonight at the J.R. King Center. Set scores were 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.

THE BASICS
Tori Holmberg had nine kills, Ali Singleton had eight and Rebecca Morehouse had seven as the Wasps stung Ferrum en route to the win. Sam McCauley had 27 assists and Lauren Coolidge had 23 digs for Emory & Henry.
Chemaiya Jordan had six kills for Ferrum and
Cheyenne Strickland had eight assists.
Mikayla Holland and
Summer Smart had 17 and 13 digs, respectively, for the Panthers.

Ruthanne Duffy's team will be back in action Friday and Saturday, Sept. 8-9, at the Maroon Classic, being hosted by Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. The Panthers face Bridgewater College and Sewanee-University of the South Friday at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., then take on Roanoke and Randolph College Saturday at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
