SALEM, Va. -- Ferrum College dropped a pair of non-conference volleyball matches this afternoon at the Maroon Classic, hosted by Roanoke College. The Panthers fell 3-1 to Bridgewater College and 3-0 to Sewanee: University of the South at the Cregger Center.

THE BASICS
Cheyenne Strickland combined for 29 digs, 20 kills and 18 assists in the two matches for Ferrum. Camryn Holt added 18 assists, and Mikayla Holland had 14 kills.

BACK ON COURT
Coach Ruthanne Duffy's team will be back in action Saturday at the Maroon Classic. The Panthers face host Roanoke at 11:00 a.m., then take on Randolph College at 5:00 p.m.
