GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Ferrum College lost in the semifinals of the 2018 USA South Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Tournament to Berea College, falling 68-54 this afternoon at Hanes Gym on the Greensboro College campus.

THE BASICS
Berea opened the game with a 22-15 lead after one quarter, then held the Panthers to just seven second-quarter points in building a commanding 46-22 halftime lead. The Panthers closed out the 2017-18 season with the loss. Berea will play in Sunday's USA South Tournament championship, facing Piedmont College. The Lions beat host Greensboro 62-50 in the other semifinal to reach the title game.
