ASHLAND, Va. -- Ferrum College's baseball team dropped a non-conference game to #12 Randolph-Macon College this afternoon on the road, falling 15-7 at Hugh Stephens Field in Estes Park.

THE BASICS
Randolph-Macon broke a 3-3 tie with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, but Ferrum responded with four runs in the top of the sixth to tie the game at 7-7. The Yellow Jackets then scored a run in the bottom of the sixth, five in the seventh and two in the eighth to break it open. Middle reliever
Grey Sherfey (0-1) absorbed the loss for the Panthers, while Tyler Dunn (W, 2-0) pitched a third of an inning to get the win for R-MC. Starter Michael Zubovich allowed three hits, an earned run and a walk over five innings, and struck out seven Ferrum batters. Cole Migliorini went 4-4 with a run and three RBI for the Yellow Jackets.
Nathaniel Anthony had a solo homer in the first inning for Ferrum, and
Garrett Dorton went 2-4 and scored a pair of runs.
