GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Ferrum College earned a USA South Athletic Conference baseball win this afternoon on the road over Greensboro College, winning 5-4 at Ted Leonard Park. The Panthers won the series opener 11-6 Friday night.

Ferrum scored two runs each in the fourth and fifth innings, added another in the sixth, then held on to win the second game of the USA South series. In the top of the sixth,
Grey Sherfey got on base with a bunt single down the third base line, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch, then scored what would be the game-winning run on

Joey Pride (2-3) got the win after pitching seven innings and allowing 14 hits, two earned runs and no walks, while striking out five batters. Starter Piero Amador (1-4) got the loss, allowing six hits, four earned runs and three walks over 4.1 innings for the Pride.
