GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Ferrum College completed a three-game USA South Athletic Conference weekend baseball sweep over Greensboro College, winning today 8-6 at Ted Leonard Park. The Panthers won 11-6 Friday night and 5-4 Saturday afternoon.

Ferrum scored a pair of runs in the ninth inning off
Kyle Anstice's homer over the left field fence, then held on for the league win and the sweep.
Brandon West and
Jake Martin had solo homers for the Panthers in the third and sixth innings, respectively. Starter
Drew Calohan (2-1) earned the win, pitching seven innings with five strikeouts for Ferrum. Starter Tyler Garam (1-2) was saddled with the loss after pitching 5.2 innings for the Pride and striking out eight batters.
Grey Sherfey went 4-4 with a run, an RBI and two stolen bases for Ferrum, while West and
Chase Snyder collected two base hits each. Hunter Curtis went 3-4 and scored a pair of runs for Greensboro.
