EMORY, Va. -- Ferrum College dropped a non-conference baseball game this afternoon at Emory & Henry College, falling 8-5 at Porterfield/DeVault Field.

THE BASICS
The Wasps broke a 4-4 tie with four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, then held on to claim the non-conference win. Caleb Wallace went 4-5 with two runs, two RBI and a stolen base for Emory & Henry, and Eli Straw went 2-5 with a two-run homer in the third inning, two runs and a pair of RBI. Reliever J.T. Agosto (3-0) picked up the win after pitching the final four and a third innings with three hits, one earned run and one strikeout.

Colby Grissom (0-1) got the loss after pitching two thirds of an inning in relief and allowing five hits and four earned runs.
