Ferrum closed out the regular season at 14-11 overall and 9-7 in the ODAC. The Panthers tied University of Lynchburg for sixth place after splitting the two-game series, but the Hornets earned the higher seed in the post-season tournament on criteria.
The Panthers are led by third-year Head Coach Tyler Sanborn. This is Ferrum's first ODAC Tournament. Ferrum is led in scoring this season by a trio of players in double figures: Rashad Reed (16.9 ppg), James Smith Jr. (13.2 ppg) and Kajuan Madden-McAfee (10.2 ppg).

Emory & Henry finished the regular season with a 7-18 overall record and a 4-12 ODAC mark. Emory & Henry won a first-round game last season as the #7 seed, beating #10 Eastern Mennonite University 60-57 before losing to #2 Guilford College 77-67 in the quarterfinals.
The Wasps are led by first-year Head Coach Ben Thompson. Emory & Henry is also led in scoring this season by three players in double figures: Colin Molden (21.9 ppg); Robert Holliday Jr. (20 ppg) and Anthony Williams 10.8 ppg.
