FERRUM, Va. -- The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Association has announced its 2025-26 All-State Men's Basketball Teams, and Ferrum College's Gerren Jones has earned second-team honors.

A senior guard from Swansboro, North Carolina, Jones was a Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Region selection during the 2025-26 season after averaging 22.2 points per game for the Panthers. He helped lead Ferrum to a 16-11 overall record, including a 14-6 mark in Conference Carolinas and a third-place finish in the league standings.

Jones shot 46 percent from the field, including 43 percent from three-point range, while converting 86 percent of his free-throw attempts. He scored 20 or more points in 18 of the 25 games he played during the season, including three performances of 30 or more points.

For his efforts, Jones earned first-team All-Conference Carolinas honors and was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 3, 2026.
