FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped its men's wrestling season opener at home to Washington and Lee University, falling 35-7 tonight at Swartz Gym.
THE BASICS
The Generals opened 29-0 lead through the first seven matches of the night to take control of the non-conference matchup.
Sam Slate got Ferrum on the scoreboard with a 13-4 major decision over Brad Basham at 184 pounds. Braden Homsey followed with a 10-3 win at 197 pounds over Matt Majoy.
