FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida -- Ferrum College's men's wrestling team completed first day action at the 2021 Citrus Invitational, being held Wednesday and Thursday, December 29-30, at Broward County Convention Center.
Ferrum entered 18 wrestlers in the tournament are in eighth place in a field of 12 teams, with one wrestler remaining in the semifinals.

THE BASICS
Braden Homsey cruised into the semifinals in the 197-pound weight class with a major decision and a tech fall. Four other wrestlers are still wrestling for placements on Thursday: JD McMillin (125 lbs), Levi Englman (141), Sam Slate (184) and Rayshawn Dixon (285). Dixon owns a pair of Ferrum's eight pins today.
