Ferrum Falls to Maroons in Men's Soccer

SALEM, VIRGINIA -- Ferrum College dropped an Old Domionion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game tonight against Roanoke College, 6-1 at Donald J. Kerr Stadium.

THE BASICS
Roanoke scored just 50 seconds into the match when Isacc Wolf found the back of the net on an assist from Harrison Kraus. Liam Camilleri scored an unassisted  goal in the 17th minute to give the Maroons a 2-0 lead. Gabriel Hendi put Roanoke up 3-0 just before half on an assist from Girom Affolter. Quinn Kunath added to Roanoke's tally from a Jordan Fiorani to make it 4-0. Affolter netted himself a goal, with Tiernan Armstrong providing the assist. Evan McIntyre scored the final maroon goal on the night on a pass from Adam Shaia. Jakob Buckle scored to prevent the Panthers from getting shutout on a pass from James Burton.

Coach Matt Cureton's will be back on the road later this week, when they travel to face Virginia Wesleyan University. The ODAC match time is set for Saturday, October 15 at 5:00 p.m. in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
