VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- The Ferrum College women's soccer team fell 2-0 this afternoon to #18 Virginia Wesleyan University in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matchup.

THE BASICS
Virginia Wesleyan scored two first half goals in the span of four minutes and that would be all it would need to pick up an ODAC win at home. Alexandria Soteriou found the back fo the net on a pass from Olivia Bryant in the 22nd minute for a Marlins 1-0  lead. Four minutes later in the 26th minute Emma Acanfora add an unassisted goal to put VWU up 2-0.
