FINAL RESULTS

SALEM, Virginia -- Ferrum College's women's cross country team competed Friday, October 14, at the Roanoke College Invitational, held at Green Hill Park.

THE BASICS
Division I Radford University was first with a perfect team score of 15. Southern Virginia University (63) and Washington and Lee University (71) finished second and third, while Bob Jones University 153) and Fayetteville State University (155) rounded out the top five in a field of 15 teams.

Lucy Thornton of Radford grabbed the individual title, covering the 6K course in a time of 20:51.6, while Chloe Wellings finished two seconds behind her teammate. Radford finished 1-2-3-4-5 in the event. Ferrum's  Erin Reynolds posted the top time for the Panthers, finishing 87th in a field of 125 runners with a time of 27:47.
