NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia -- Four members of the Ferrum College women's cross country team competed Saturday, November 12, at the NCAA South Regional, hosted by Christopher Newport University at Lee Hall Mansion.

THE BASICS
Lynchburg won the team title with 30 points, finishing 18 points better than runner-up Emory. Washington and Lee (90), host Christopher Newport (175) and Berry (184) rounded out the top five teams. Individually, Annika Ruban from Emory won the title with her time of 22:29.3. Ferrum's Genesie Pineiro was the Panthers top finisher, covering the 6K course in a time of 30:13.9 and placing 136th in a field of 182 competitors.
