SALEM, Virginia -- Ferrum College completed an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) field hockey game with Washington and Lee University, falling 9-1 tonight at Roanoke College's Kerr Stadium. The game was started October 10 in Lexington, Virginia, but an injury forced the postponement until it could be completed tonight.

Washington and Lee led 8-1 coming into tonight, with Betty Boatwright and Peyton Tysinger having two goals each.
Riley Hines broke up the shutout with an unassisted goal at the 9:01 mark last week.
In tonight's final quarter and a half of play, the Generals scored one last goal, by Alexis Parks, her second goal in the contest at the 42:38 mark.
