FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College fell 3-0 to Guilford College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball action tonight at Swartz Gym. Set scores were 25-13, 25-20, 25-20.

SENIOR NIGHT
Prior to the match, Ferrum's players and coaches held a special Senior Night ceremony for
Morgan McCoy, who has played volleyball and softball four years for the Panthers.
THE BASICS
Guilford made quick work of the first set, jumping out to a 21-11 lead and closing it out on a kill by Vanessa Johnson. The Quakers then held on late in the second set, earning the final point on a Ferrum service error.
Ferrum took an early 5-1 lead in the third set, including a pair of
Taylor Joyner kills and one by
Sami Kircher. The Panthers would eventually lead 18-14, but an 8-0 run swung momentum to Guilford and the Quakers closed the match with a pair of Natalie Moore kills.
