LEXINGTON, Virginia -- Ferrum College fell to nationally ranked #18 Washington and Lee University, 9-1 in old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action this afternoon at Watt Field in the Panthers' season finale.

THE BASICS
Washington and Lee started the scoring early in the first half when Grace Wielechowski found the back of the net with a assist from Lindsay White. In the 10th minute of play, Ann Riley Huber scored an unassisted goal to put the Generals up 2-0. A Sarah Zimmerman pass found Brenna Wehner and she placed her shot into the back of the net and 13:31.
Sophie Berman added a goal in the 27th minute, assisted by Helen Otteni, then Madison and Sydney Devory scored goals just before halftime to put Washington and Lee up 6-0 at the break.
The Generals added three more goals eight minutes into the second half, with Ava Boussy scoring twice and Ann Martin once to make it 9-0. Allison Setlak broke up the shutout when she converted from the penalty spot in the 56th minute.
