EMORY, Virginia -- Ferrum College's women's wrestling team competed Sunday, December 18, at the Wasp Women's Open, hosted by Emory & Henry College at the King Center. The Panthers finished eighth as a team in a field of 13 teams, with one wrestler posting a second-place finish individually.

Jazmene Molina finished 4-1 on the day with three pins and a tech fall, placing second in the 130-pound weight class. Molina's pins were over Emory & Henry's Dafne Aguilar, Presbyterian's SierraMarie Miller and Apprentice's Sydnie Durham. Her pin over Durham was marked at 26 seconds. Sophomore
