FERRUM, Virginia -- Catherine Kagey had 13 points to lead Randolph-Macon College to a 53-46 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win over Ferrum College this afternoon at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Randolph-Macon led 14-7 after the first quarter, then extended the lead to 11 points at 9:09 of the second quarter when Juliana Park sank a three-pointer from the top of the key to make it 19-8 game. Ferrum cut the lead to 28-24 on
Aisha Martin's three-pointer with two seconds left before halftime.
The Yellow Jackets outscored Ferrum 14-7 in the third quarter. Morgan Miller's three-pointer at 2:25 matched RMC's 11-point lead at 42-31 and neither team would score again before the end of the third.
In the fourth quarter,
Kayla Cabiness' jumper with 28 seconds left to play helped the Panthers get the lead down to five points at 51-46, but Kagey sank a pair of free throws down the stretch to help Randolph-Macon hold on for the league road win.
