WILLIAMSPORT, Pennsylvania -- The Ferrum College men's wrestling team finished eights at the 2022 NCAA Division III Southeast Regional, hosted Friday and Saturday, February 25-26, by Lycoming College at the Keiper Recreation Center.

THE BASICS
Stevens Tech won the team title with 160.5 points. Alvernia was second at 151 points and Averett University was third at 127 points. Washington and Lee University (103.5) and York College of Pennsylvania (97) rounded out the top five teams.
Ferrum finished eighth in a field of 20 teams with 69 points. The Panthers had two wrestlers make it through the consolations to the third-place matches and had a shot at making NCAA appearances.
Levi Englman opened the day with a semifinal loss at 141 pounds, then battled through the back bracket to reach the third-place match, where he fell 7-2 to Averett's Brandon Woody. Rayshawn Dixon won two matches to open the day at 285 pounds, before falling 6-2 to Alvernia University's Palmer Rodenhaber in the consolation finals.
Englman and Dixon each finished fourth. Also on the mat today were JD McMillin (125), Christian Hite (157), Elijah Martin (165), and Colt Oliver (174). Hite went 1-1 on the day to finish sixth, while McMillin, Martin and Oliver each dropped two matches and placed eighth.
