FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College freshman Tyler Harvey has been named Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) for her part in two games last week.
Harvey had nine points on eight goals and an assist last week as Ferrum posted a pair of non-conference wins. This is her first ODAC Player of the Week honor.
The Panthers beat North Carolina Wesleyan College 17-5 March 2 at home, with Harvey scoring a game-high six goals. Then in a 15-14 March 5 road win over Pfeiffer University, Harvey added two goals and an assist to her stat line for the week.
Through four games this season, Harvey has 13 points on 12 goals and an assist for the Panthers. Ferrum is currently 2-2 overall. The Panthers return to action Tuesday, March 8, at home against Ohio Wesleyan University. The non-conference game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start at W.B. Adams Stadium.
