FERRUM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College Women's Soccer team fell to Southern Virginia University 2-1, in non-conference action this evening at W.B. Adams Stadium.
THE BASICS
Morgan Romney netted the first goal on a Madisen Staples assist in the first half, to give Southern Virginia the lead 1-0. Rachel Bodkin would end up scoring the game winning goal for the Knights in the 53rd minute, when she converted a shot from the penalty spot.
Aubrey Billings broke the shutout for the Panthers when she converted a free kick from 45 yards out.
