FERRUM, VIRGINIA -- Ferrum College fell 3-1 to Roanoke College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball action tonight, at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Ferrum took the first set 25-23, in a close one as Roanoke took an early 6-2 lead. Only to see the Panthers claw back and tie it 22-22 and eventually win off a Taylor Joyner kill.  Roanoke won the second set 25-16, this one went back and forth in the early going, neither team getting larger than a two point lead. In the third set the Maroons took an early lead and never relinquished it, winning 25-12. Roanoke won the fourth and game winning set in a nail biter, 25-23.
