Hannah Huffman hit back-to-back three pointers to put Ferrum up 6-0 ealry in the first quarter.
Allyson Cassell 's layup at 5:35 gave Ferrum a 8-3 lead. Lynchburg closed out the quarter on a 8-2 run to take a 13-12 lead.
The Hornets' Brooke Cason scored the first points of the quarter after three scoreless minutes of play. Cassell scored a layup and assisted

After a Aisa Martin steal led to Cassell's layup, the Panthers found themselves down just 3, 29-26 with 6:29 remaining in the third quarter. Ashley Vandergrift's three-pointer helped Lynchburg close out the quarter on an 8-0 run to go up 45-30 headed to the fourth quarter. Maddie Nimmo's three-pointer with 3:56 left gave Lynchburg their largest lead of the day, 59-34.
