Aisha Martin had a game-high 20 points to lead Ferrum College to a 70-52 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's basketball road win over Eastern Mennonite University tonight at Yoder Arena.

Hannah Huffman jumper, followed by three-pointers from
Kayleigh Shreffler and
Erin Harden put Ferrum out in from 8-4 early in the game. The Royals responded with a 5-0 run to take the 9-8 lead with just under five minutes left in the first quarter. Martin had a pair of layups and
DeMeisha Canada hit a jumper to give Ferrum a 14-13 lead after one.
Eastern Mennonite opened in the second quarter with a 17-3 run to build a 30-17 lead at the 4:46 mark. Ferrum rallied over the next several minutes, with
Kayla Cabiness' seven points sparking a 13-2 run that cut EMU's lead to 32-30 at the break.
Ferrum exploded in the third quarter, outscoring the Royals 25-7, with Martin scoring 11 points to give the Panthers a commanding 55-39 lead, one they would never relinquish. Ferrum then held on in the fourth to pick up the league road win.
