FERRUM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College field hockey team dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game, 2-0 against Sweet Briar College at W.B. Adams stadium tonight.

THE BASICS
After a scoreless first quarter, Jolin Daughety played a ball over the defense and Brynna Hughes scored the opening goal for Sweet Briar, 23 minutes into the game. Avery Jones scored the second goal of the game in the third quarter, to increase the Vixens' lead to 2-0.
