LYNCHBURG, Virginia -- Zach Whelan's goal in the 20th minute of play broke up a 1-1 stalemate and gave University of Lynchburg a 2-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's soccer win over Ferrum College tonight at Shellenberger Field.

THE BASICS
Enrique Morales took a pass from Carter Averette and put it past Ferrum goalkeeper
Michael Arzillo at the 7:59 mark to open scoring.
Amanuel Walie scored for the Panthers less that five minutes later after taking a pass from
Callum Harrison and beating Lynchburg goalkeeper Thomas Viscuso at 12:40.
Whelan notched the eventual game-winner at 19:28 with an assist from Luke Mega, and neither team would score again in the final 70 minutes of play.
