FERRUM, Virginia -- Visiting Washington and Lee University defeated Ferrum College, 5-0, in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's soccer play tonight at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Helen Otteni placed a ball into the upper right corner of the net at the 13:40 mark to open scoring for Washington and Lee. Emma Mansfield and Sarah Zimmerman scored a goal each for the Generals in the 15th and 33rd minutes of play, respectively, to make it a 3-0 game at the break.

Bryn Bissinger added a goal at 50:59 to push the lead to 4-0, then Gracie Jorgenson closed the game with an unassisted goal with two and a half minutes left to play.
