FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Ferrum College's women's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference road game this afternoon to Methodist University, falling 18-5 at Monarch Stadium.

THE BASICS
Methodist led 4-0 after one quarter, then added two more to grow the lead to 6-0.
Erin Reynolds broke the ice for the Panthers with a goal at the 9:08 mark of the second quarter.
Willow Cooper converted a free position shot at 6:29 of the second to trim the lead to 7-2. Reynolds added her second goal of the game with 2:27 left in the quarter and Ferrum trailed 8-3 at the break. The Monarchs used a 6-0 rally in the third to blow the game open, leading 14-3 after three. Cooper and Reynolds each found the back of the net once more in the fourth quarter for the final count.
