GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- Guilford College scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning in game two to win 4-3 and complete an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) softball sweep over Ferrum College this afternoon at Haworth Field. The Quakers took the opener by a score of 7-1.

GAME 1
Lyndsey Sears ripped an RBI singe down the left field line in the first inning of the opener to spot Ferrum a 1-0 lead. Guilford would score two runs in the bottom of the frame, one in the second, three in the fifth and one in the sixth to record the win.

GAME 2
Guilford scored a run in the first inning, then Carson Hogston had an RBI single to left field in the second to tie the game. The Quakers scored a run each in the third and fourth innings to take a 3-1 lead, but Ferrum responded with a run in sixth inning on
Abby McGuire's RBI single to left, then Hogston's RBI double to left in the seventh tied the game at 3-3. Calus had an RBI single to left in the bottom of the seventh to push the winning run across the plate and give the Quakers the sweep.
