BRIDGEWATER, Virginia -- Bridgewater College led by nine goals at the break before eventually beating Ferrum College 19-7 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's lacrosse this afternoon at Jopson Athletic Complex.

THE BASICS
Bridgewater scored three goals in less than five minutes to open the game, then Ferrum's
Willow Cooper got the Panthers on the scoreboard with a goal at 9:31 of the first quarter, Cooper would score again later in the first and Ferrum trailed 5-2 after one quarter.
The Eagles started to pull away, outscoring Ferrum 8-2 in the second quarter, with Cooper and
Bianca Cellitto scoring for the Panthers, to build a commanding 13-4 lead at the break.
Bridgewater shut Ferrum out in the third and led 18-4 after three.
Ashtyn Bishop, Cooper and Cellitto found the back of the net once each in the fourth quarter for the final count.
