FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College's men's lacrosse team suffered an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) loss at home to Randolph-Macon College, falling 29-3 this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Randolph-Macon opened an early 4-0 lead, but
Cory Hamilton got Ferrum on the scoreboard when he took an
Adam Brooks pass and rifled it past RMC goalkeeper Owen Gucwa at the 7:15 mark of the first quarter.
The Yellow Jackets then reeled off 11 straight to blow the game open at 15-1Â with 5:43 left in the second quarter.
Nathan Piggott and
Jacob Carroll had back-to-back goals for Ferrum at 4:47 and 4:23, respectively, to trim the score to 15-3. R-MC added three goals before the end of the quarter for an 18-3 halftime lead.
Randolph-Macon's defense held Ferrum scoreless in the second half, while scoring 11 goals at the the end of the field.
