Hornets Hang On, Beat Ferrum Men 4-3

WINCHESTER, Virginia -- Chinedu Ikem had a pair of goals to lift Shenandoah University to a 4-3 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's soccer win over Ferrum College this afternoon at SU's Shentel Stadium.

THE BASICS
Jonathan Nicacio got Ferrum on the scoreboard first with an unassisted goal 3:21 into the game. The Hornets came back to score four times to take a 4-1 lead into the break, including Iken's goals in the ninth and 13th minutes of play.

Leo Galpin scored an unassisted goal for Ferrum at 57:22, then Nacacio notched his second goal of the game with just over 12 minutes left in regulation for the game's final score.
