FERRUM, Virginia -- Elka Prechell was 4-4 from behind the three-point line in leading #23 Washington and Lee University to a 72-37 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's basketball win over Ferrum College tonight at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led early on, taking an 8-5 lead on
Kayla Cabiness' layup at 4:51 of the first quarter. Washington and Lee stormed back with an 18-2 run to go out in front, 20-10, after one quarter.
The two teams played evenly in the second quarter, with the Generals outscoring Ferrum 13-11 to take a 33-21 lead at the break.
W&L flexed with a 19-5 third quarter. For the Panthers in the third,
Allyson Cassell had a jumper,
Allessandria Thomas had a free throw and
Trina Lewis had two free throws. The Generals posted their largest lead of the game on a made jumper by Riley Bryant and free throw to close out the game.
