LYNCHBURG, Virginia -- Ferrum College fell 50-30 to Randolph College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's basketball action tonight at Giles Gymnasium.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led 7-6 on a
Kayla Cabiness three-pointer at 5:28 of the first quarter, but the WildCats scored the next four points to surge back in front two minutes later.
Asya Williams' jumper with 56 seconds left in the first gave the Panthers an 11-10 lead after one quarter.
Ferrum could get little going in the second quarter, being outscored 12-4 for a 22-15 Randolph lead at the break.
Trina Lewis and Dezhenae Stewart each had a basket for the Panthers. Caiyah Smith connected on a pair of baskets in the third quarter to give Randolph a 33-23 lead after three.
In the fourth quarter, Ferrum got the lead back down to six points when Williams' jumper from the right side made it a 34-28 game with 8:43 left in regulation. Randolph controlled the game from there, using a 16-2 run to close it out.
