SWEET BRIAR, Virginia - The Ferrum College women's soccer team delivered an impressive performance, defeating Sweet Briar College 7-1. With this win, the Panthers tied the school record for overall wins in a season with twelve. Ferrum finished the 1995 season with an overall record of 12-4.

Ashlynn Mitcham ignited the scoring early, finding the back of the net less than two minutes into the game. Senior
Bri Bitz followed suit, scoring two goals in rapid succession, just 20 seconds apart, to extend the Panthers' lead to 3-0. Freshman
Breanna Herlihy added two goals, showcasing the team's offensive depth, as five different Panthers found the back of the net.
Junior
Anna Blaine made her mark by recording her first win of the season, contributing three saves on the night.
