Marlins Top Ferrum in ODAC Men's Soccer

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia -- Ferrum College fell 2-0 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's soccer play at Virginia Wsleyan University tonight at Foster Field/Tassos Paphitis Soccer Complex.

THE BASICS
Mason Wakefield scored an unassisted goal at 9:49 of the first half to put Virginia Wesleyan on the scoreboard. Then at the 21:46 mark, Nolan Schulte took a pass from Alex Moody and scored to make it a 2-0 lead at the break. Both teams played solid defense in the second half and the Marlins held on for the league win at home.
