FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College's men's basketball team scored a new school record 124 points in tonight's non-conference win over Warren Wilson College, winning 124-68 at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
The Panthers rolled out of the gates hot, outscoring Warren Wilson 14-2 in the first four minutes of the game, then used a 30-15 run to grab a 44-17 lead on Aldrefo Abel-Rivera's layup.
Zavier Measmer hit a three-pointer with 17 seconds left in the first half to put Ferrum on top 66-30 at the break.
Ferrum used a 30-19 spurt to open the second half and crossed the 100-point milestone on a Measmer three-pointer with 7:28 left to play. For the game, Ferrum closed with seven players in double-figure scoring, led by Measmer's game-high 24 points, including five three-pointers.
RECORD-BREAKING NIGHT
Ferrum's 124 points is a new school record. The previous record of 119 points in a single game was set in December 1990 against Concord University, then tied in January 1992 against Methodist University.
