Box Score GRANVILLE, OH - The Ferrum College women's basketball team dropped a tough contest to host Denison University in the championship game of the Sara Lee Classic. The Panthers started the game strong, trailing by one after the first quarter.

Allyson Cassell led all scorers, finishing with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting. The game remained close throughout the first half. Senior
Taryn Blankenship knocked down a pair of free throws in the second quarter cutting the Big Red's lead to 2 points. Over the last 6 min of the second quarter, Denison outscored the Panthers 14-6 to push the lead to 10 points at the intermission. The second half saw the Bid Red shoot 50% from the field which helped them to increase their lead. Graduate student
Aisha Martin scored 12 points and led in rebounding with 7. Cassell made the all-tournament team. In two games she scored 33 points shooting 58% from the field.
