FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College lost tonight to Guilford College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball action, falling 3-2. Set scores were 21-25, 24-26, 25-19, 25-19, 15-13 tonight at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
A kill each by
Harleigh Propst and
Sami Kircher sealed the deal on the opening set for Ferrum. With the score tied 24-24 in the second set,
Airiana Beverley took a
Kenzee Chaffin set and blasted it, then the Quakers had a setting error on the final point to give Ferrum a two sets to love lead.
Guilford stormed back to take the next two sets and forced a winner-take-all fifth set. The Panthers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the final set, getting a kill each from Propst and Terry. The Quakers used a 9-3 run from there to take a 9-6 lead. Ferrum was able to get the lead down to a single point at 13-12 on
Carsyn Diggs' kill off a Propst set, only to see Guilford hang on for the win.
