FINAL RESULTS
BLACKSBURG, Virginia -- Ferrum College's men's track and field team competed at the Virginia Tech Challenge on Friday and Saturday, February 16-17 at Virginia Tech's Rector Field House.
THE BASICS
Three Panthers competed on Friday while the other one competed on Saturday.
Jamaari Blackburn qualified from the prelims with a 6.94 in the 60 meter dash, while finishing fifth with a time of 6.92, tying the school record and setting a new PR at the Virginia Tech Challenge.
Michael Hamm had a new PR and school record in the men's 400 meter with a time of 49.83, finishing seventh on Friday.
Antaveon Steele set a new personal record and broke his school record with a time of 8.52 on 60 meter hurdles to finish out Friday night for the Panthers.
Darrian Johnson wrapped up the weekend for the Panthers setting his own PR at shot put with the distance 13.71m.
