2024 ODAC Indoor Track & Field Championships
SALEM, Virginia -- Ferrum College's men's track team competed today at the 2024 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Indoor Track Championships, held at Roanoke College's Cregger Center.
Antaveon Steele posted the top time of the day in the 60 meter hurdles, with an 8.60 in the prelims.
Deontae Lawson finished competed in the high jump, posting a school record and personal record 6'1 1/2" in finishing fifth. Lawson also posted a school record and personal record in the long jump at 21' 3 3/4" to finish in ninth place.
Conner Church had a new PR in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.14 to finish 11th in the prelims, while
DaMauri McPherson ran a 7.23 to finish 16th and
Jamaari Blackburn ran a 7.40 to finish 20th.
The Panthers also competed in the 4000 meter distance medley, finishing 10th. Representing the Panthers were
Greyson Crouch,
Logan McClung,
Seth Shaffer and
Josh Mills.
Coach Mark White's team will back at the Cregger Center to complete the ODAC Indoor Championships Sunday, February 25.
